We just moved to Cary and found out we are pregnant. I am looking for a good OBGYN in the area. Also, what is the difference in price with Rex verus Wake Med Cary if any?

Thanks,

Heather

I have no idea the price difference (I had my kids at wake med cary) and the practice I went to (and loved) is Triangle OB/gyn which is just across the street from wake med cary. They are affiliated with the NC Center for Reproductive Medicine, so all of the docs are well informed many issues. They also have two midwives who work in the practice, and I was quite happy to see them as well.

The practice is big, but I always felt like the docs were very nice. Anyhow, pm me if you want more information

Leigh

I used Capital Area OBGYN in Cary. They are affiliated with Rex Hospital. I loved the service there and loved Rex as well.

I highly recommend Dr. Brannon. He is right off Kildaire Farm Rd. in Waverly Place (Near Whole Foods). You can google Brannon and Rogers to get his website/phone number. I really like him and I know MANY that cared for while pregnant. I am done having kids but I use him as my gyn now and he has proven his intelligence in that field. He is thorough and a sweet man. Tell him Linda from Willow Spring sent you!

Hi all, wondering if anyone knows of a great IVF clinic in the Holly Springs, Cary, Apex area (or up to 45 minute drive from there)? I will be moving down to NC soon and I have tried IVF once and it didn't take so I am willing to give it one more shot with a doctor with a great bedside manner and maybe some good statistics! Thanks!

Is that the one over by Ashville Ave in Cary? I work at a hotel near there and if its the same place, we get people coming from all over to use their services. Good luck!

I can highly recommend Atrium OBGYN. Their offices are beside Rex Hospital on Blue Ridge Rd. Dr. Gary Haakenson delivered both of my sons at the Rex Birthing Center. Dr, David Henderson is also an excellent doctor, and both of them are really nice men. Dr. Mark Zimmerman is a nice guy, too. I just don't know him as well as I do David and Gary.

By the way, I'm the dad, not the mom.

I built their first offices in Raleigh 20 years ago, and when my wife and I moved back to Raleigh from Chapel Hill, she was looking for a new obgyn, so I introduced her to these fine fellows, and she's been thrilled with their care.

Their web address is Atrium Obstetrics & Gynecology
Talk to them before you decide.
