One of our neighbors has dumped concrete chunks in a couple places to stop erosion and it looks dreadful. They are willing to cover it with rocks that are more pleasing to the eye but don't know where to find rocks at an affordable price. We have a pickup we can use to haul the rocks, just need to find a place where they can be obtained at a reasonable cost.

Anyone have any suggestions of where we can get a pickup load or two of rocks at a reasonable price?

I recently picked up a load of Class A Rip Rap from Triangle Landscaping on Gresham Lake Rd. in Raleigh in my trailer(they loaded) Class A rip rap is softball size...I got a square yard for $47. Class B is football size...same price. They stock a large selection of landscaping rock, stone and gravel...all prices. They have yards in Garner and in Morrisville.

There's a large quarry right off I40, exit 287.

I have bought several truckloads of gravel from Norwood Garden center on Norwood Rd. I think I pay about $30-40 per load. Of course that's in my own truck, they just load it for you with a tractor.

Thanks a million. I'll check with the quarry as I think I bigger rocks would be better to stop the erosion and hide the huge chunks of concrete.

Appreciate all your suggestions.
