I know Carolina Theater in Durham is showing them, but does any other theater offer ANY of the short nominated films?

Very much doubt you'll find these kinds of films in the mainstream "big box" theaters; check for the smaller independents. That said, I LOVE Carolina Theatre!

Anyone know what kinds of films the new Cary theater downtown will show? I'm hoping for lots of indie and foreign releases.

I saw them years and years ago at the Rialto. I love the Carolina Theatre, too, and am always happy to make a trip there.

The Carolina generally has far more in the way of "film festival"-type offering than anywhere else, and it's not really that far from any point in the Triangle. I didn't even realize they were showing them, but they are almost certainly the only place. They also are a non-profit so your ticket money would be supporting Arts offerings in general, not a theater chain or one theater's profits.

Ahhh...The Rialto. Spent many a lazy afternoon of my youth there. No other place like it.

it looks like there are several theaters in the area that will be showing them. Additionally, you'll be able to watch them on itune or Amazon staring 2/25.
