Chris, it appears you're lost. The Tarheel message board is over at scout.com.
I apologize. I had no intention of breaking the rules on this forum. I will not post any further on this topic and I hope the board moderators will accept my apology and feel free to delete any offending posts that I made. Thanks.

I'm the moderator.
This thread is about UNC. Which is why we are discussing UNC.

Yeah... so let's just bring it out into the open so none of these guys get a business degree and get hired by some company that thinks they actually understand how to run one.
Eh, a business degree will get you an entry level job. College doesn't teach you to run a company. Grad school teaches a bit more.
If UNC has to do this to get its athletes through the curriculum what is happening at other institutions considering UNC's athletes have superior high school GPA's and SAT's than all but 3 other public institutions? What is NCSU doing? What is ECU doing? Bury your head in the sand if you want.
And Willinghams work has been wholly discredited. Ignore the facts if they don't support your narrative....seems to be what the local media is doing.

I'm not angry but when misinformation is the norm it does become frustrating. I'm guessing this guy
"The cheap shots are because they have several employees who are whistleblowers they are actively trying to tear down and silence"
hasn't taken one minute to look at how Willingham collected her data or how she came up with her assertions on that data. The media isn't going to do it for him because it does not fit the narrative that UNC is a gang of dirty cheaters that funnel illiterate athletes through a pipeline of fake and easy classes. The witch hunt has been going on for four years now. The institution has been drug through the mud enough. At some point in time people need to realize this story keeps getting rehashed solely because it sells newspapers.
It's not just the Willingham thing though. The way they've handled students in regards to sexual assault allegations has also been shameful. Sports ribbing aside, it seems like there needs to be a purge of UNC's upper administration and a hard look at what is going on in those offices.
