Saturnfan...I'm sure you're comment does sum up a small portion of the people relocating to the triangle but I'd like to clarify that I have some family there already and know what I'm getting into. I've also researched my field and salary is equal if not slightly higher in the triangle. I haven't seen mass communication about moving to NC in the news in the tristate area...sorry. To be honest...NJ taxes and home rates are so out of control that taking a pay cut will still allow the average person to have a better quality of life in NC. Not to mention, I'm fond of the people...more ppl say hello in my family's neighborhood in the triangle than my own area. The shorter winter and gorgeous beaches are also very attractive. So I'd like to say be proud of where you live and of the fact that people are envious and moving there...don't just hate on others.
