From the little that I have gathered in my online searches, I am leaning towards UNC Family Medicine for my prenatal care and, ultimately, my delivery at UNC hospital. I would like to have as little intervention as possible during the birth, to deliver vaginally, and to have my birth plan respected. Please share your experiences. Thanks!

I know tons of people love the birthing center here for exactly the things I'm looking for, but I would have greater peace of mind already being in the hospital.

I went with the UNC Midwives with both of my babies for exactly the reasons you mention. A few of the midwives have departed since then but the one who delivered my second child is still there (Meg). I LOVED her. PM if you want more details. Since they practice under the Drs at the hospital it gave me a sense of comfort. BTW, I drove by several hospitals to go to UNC but then again I'm an alumni!
