Hi guys! We recently relocated from FL. We have T Mobile for our cell service. It is horrible where we moved to. Most of the time we have absolutely no service at all in the house.
Does anyone live in the area (Leesville) that can recommend a company with good reception in the area? When I am out driving it is not too bad so maybe I might have to ask the neighbors in the subdivision here in Woodlawn.
TIA
Verizon is the clear #1, particularly in that area (I live five minutes east of Leesville Road). And despite the protestations of others, with regards to the major companies, Verizon is the clear #1.
Now if you're willing to take a try with one of the less expensive operators I've heard really good things about a few of them. But I rely too much on my mobile communications and travel quite a bit so I'm not in a position to gamble. Here's a recent thread about just this topic: //www.city-data.com/forum/ralei...-wireless.html
There is a reason that TMobile is buying out others' contracts. They don't have much else to offer.
Coverage, best to worst:
Verizon>>>AT&T>>>>Sprint>>>>TMobile
Any move from right to left will improve coverage for you, although the gap between Verizon and AT&T is not as significant as the gap between AT&T and Sprint.
I know people who moved from TMobile to Sprint for better coverage.
I just moved from Sprint to AT&T, partially for better coverage.
Thank you. Hubby is going to compare Verizon and AT&T as far as data and all of that goes. We had Verizon FIOS internet, cable & home phone package but their cell service wasnt good in the area we were in so we went with T Mobile. I dont know if we will settle in this exact area after our year rent is up so we need to see who is best overall I suppose.
