Need some advice for those familiar with PNC Arena.

I purchased concert tickets in Section 127, row V. My reasoning was that it's better to be further back and center rather than closer and to the side (I didn't really want to watch the show from a side view). Now I'm not so sure...

Can someone tell me the *best* seats in the 100 section? Not sure if I should stick with what I have or look for something else.

Haven't been to a concert there but have been to other events - you are pretty low down with those seats, but my preference would not be to sit opposite the stage. Maybe it's personal preference but I always choose seats on the side and closer to the stage when I go to a concert. I guess it depends on where the stage is too - could be in the middle of the floor.

If you sit in the 100 sections, even if you are in the last row you are pretty close so if you are in a side section you might see better.

It also depends on where the stage will be set up. For example, Billy Joel is playing in the round on Sunday.

My preference is next to the stage unless a fantastic light show will be missed from that position.

Stage in the center; seating all around (360 degrees).

For those who prefer side sections, which areas will get me close but not have me watching from the side too much?

The show is Bruno Mars. I'm thinking it will be a U-shaped layout.

PNC Arena :: Seating Charts

They have the Bruno Mars one up.

I have sat almost even with the stage in the Club level on pretty much the same layout for Jimmy Buffett and got a great view of everything. Usually Club is below the top of the stage so no issues. I guess it could depend on the show though.

I've sat in Section 125 for a concert with a very similar setup as what the Bruno Mars one is showing (stage location). They're good seats, but looking across the whole floor to the actual stage seemed pretty far to me. I spent most of the time watching the big monitors on the sides of the stage.

Although they opened up the back stage seating section the layout is the more traditional U-shaped. That is, unless PNC and Ticketmaster are misrepresenting the layout (in which case I might want my money back).
