I've heard the roads around Fuquay are practically gridlocked!

Please stay off the roads people. And if you have to go, make sure you have a survival kit, complete with blankets, hand warms, extra clothes, water, and snacks. A snow shovel would help also.

I was surprised at how quickly the snow accumulated and covered the roads. This is a picture of W. Chatham between Old Apex and Cary Parkway about 20 min. after it started snowing. (That is a median with grass in the middle)

Coming down pretty good here near Brier Creek. My son went out for about 10 mins then came back in complaining that he was alone and the snow was hitting him in the eyes. After nap time we will go out and play in it. I am surprised how quick it is accumulating here.

Wow, when it started, it came fast! Everything was covered in less than an hour here in S Cary. I'm hearing the roads are crazy with those who waited for the first flakes to leave work, including my DH. Be safe everyone!

Kids are sledding in Apex and the radar looks like it should start coming down a lot harder around 4PM.

I wish I still had my beautiful golden retriever. She loved the snow so much & would be as excited as any kid. {RIP}

Roads are bad in Cary (High house near Davis), very slippery. It is amazing how fast it is coming down.

That didn't take long. Reports of people already abandoning cars on roads, as in the traffic lanes.
