The title says it all. Raleigh has made yet another list! This time for affordability and growth. I'll take growth over living in a dying region any day. Woot woot!

Great... the more lists like this we make the faster we can become NOT affordable and OVER grown.

I do agree that I prefer growth to stagnation, but we seem to have people flocking here in droves. Many of them know absolutely nothing about the area, which is rather alarming.

Another list by someone who has never visited the area making judgments about an area they know nothing about .

I agree. My friends/family members are always making comments about the traffic being unbearable and how busy the stores have become. Cary is no longer the small town I grew up in.....those days are long gone.

Let's look at the positives. Charlotte was number four on the list. Maybe everyone will move there instead.

Who reported that Charlotte's unemployment rate was 4.1%. When I saw Raleigh's at 5.4%, I thought perhaps that it was a bit low but Charlotte at 4.1%...oh please.

Here's what "the Google" says when asked:

This is for August and I know it had gone down across the state each month since then.

We are not known for our well-lit highways.
