I {mostly} grew up in Southern California and do exactly the opposite! I call everyplace a city. Even a place I once lived with a population under 100 .

Funny how people associate things...

lol yeah i wasn't born there, just lived there for 3 years. lol I was born in Oklahoma and lives most of my life in New Mexico. I live in the 2nd biggest "city" in the state xD

That's funny. I grew up in the Philadelphia suburbs and when we went into the city, we would say we were going "in town." I once said that to my roommate in DC and she said, "You sound like Laura Ingalls telling Pa you want to go in town by wagon to buy something from Olson's store."
