I am a member of a Meetup group and we want to do some karaoke soon. Prefer a Friday night but willing to do a Saturday night. I have Googled to no avail -- anyone know of any places that host karaoke on these nights?
I have never been for Karaoke, but according to the Independent Weekly the Pinhook has the best in the triangle. However, it does not happen every week.
This is a place in Raleigh. Have not been there but it looks like many of the Asian-owned karaoke places. They have different size rooms you can rent, which is nice. You can be crazy and out of tune in private.
I went to eat at Yamazushi in Durham with friends once. It's a tiny little Japanese restaurants in the Woodcroft Shopping Center. The owner/hostess kept apologizing for the very loud karaoke coming from the bar next door. It was a Saturday night. W. 94th St. Pub, I believe. I think it's open to anyone in the pub.
Actually, the Carolina Ale House in Wake Forest does karaoke on Thursday nights.
Upper Deck in Cary has it on Saturday nights, I think.
Sparks American Sports Grill in Apex does it on Thursday nights.
