We spent a whole day in Holly Springs. Fell in love with Sunset Oaks. Saw in our price range. Trying to figure out which would be the closet mall, theater and how would we get to the hospitals? My daughter and I are nurses. We also spent half a day in Wake Forest. Heritage, Northampton, Crenshaw Hall. Still liking these. Drove through others as well. Went to The park at West Lake. That was beautiful but Apex? Looked in Amberly in Cary and somehow got confused in Cary. Have two more days left? Any other suggestions? Also, need something fun for our two girls ages 9 and 10. But not wanting to go to Marbles again. Any other stuff in town that would be fun? Thanks in advance!

Maybe Frankie's over in Brier Creek?
What was your price range for houses again?

The Museum of Life Sciences in Durham or if maybe a place like Dave and Busters. It is going to warm the next couple of days so if your daughters like being outdoors then you go some local parks and greenways.

I second the Life Sciences Museum recommendation; it's age appropriate and very interactive.
Defy Gravity is fun but it's going to be so nice out I'd try to stick to the outdoors. A walk around the pond at Duke Gardens is nice. Walking around Chapel Hill is nice. There are plenty of parks around. Not sure how far you want to go. Where are you staying - did you end up in Raleigh, WF or Cary?
Do you belong to AAA? They make a map of the Triangle with all the streets on it. It's probably not 100% updated since things are changing so fast here but it will give a chance to see the whole area and you can circle where things are and get a good overview of where you might want to be.
Museum of Life & Science in Durham is great. They have two separate indoor buildings (one is a bug and butterfly house) and then fairly extensive outdoor exhibits with bears, red wolves, and lemurs, plus interactive science exhibits outdoors, too.
Can't advise on Wake County homes, but take the kids to NCMLS!
