I have a client that is looking for a half day daycare program for a 3 year old.

She prefers for it to be in North Raleigh.

I've been out of the daycare scene for quite a while.

Does anyone know of any or can recommend a reasonable cost full day daycare?

Thanks!

Vicki

VickiR,

What child care center did your client go with? I'm also looking for a 4 year old and 15 month old as well. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I live in North Raleigh and recently switched to a daycare in the area as part of our move. I interviewed a few of the major care centers and found that a lot do offer part-time care for the non-infant rooms. Little Pros and Primrose are just a couple - they're both pretty popular in N. Raleigh.

Where in "North Raleigh" are these? I'm looking for part time daycare around the Brier Creek area. Thanks.

Little Pros is right off the Leesville Rd exit. Primrose is a little further down off of Hillburn. In Brier Creek, there's also Kiddie Academy... I think they had a part-time option too but I can't remember. Definitely call to ask.

Thanks for the info, I called the four places. Are these rates reasonable? Didn't realize how expensive it was!

Kiddie Academy (Brier Creek) - They have part time. 2 days out of the week. Cost $723/month.
Goddard (Brier Creek) - no space
Little Pros (Leesville) - no space
Primrose (Lynn) - Full time $1404/month

My son went to Little Pros in 2012-13 and it was $1,150 a month for preschool age. I thought they were pretty good, but I'm sure there are many good ones out there.

Almost all of the larger churches have half day preschool programs for a fraction of the cost of regular day cares if those types of hours work for her (usually 9-1).
