Nah, I've never been a fan of whiz on my steak,

But

If they got cream soda and tasty cakes? Then I'll be in heaven lol

Thinking I'll try Pompieri Pizza in Durham tonight. Probably not "NY Style", but I'm banking on "good".

Anyone been? I Will report back if we end up there.
Just went there on Saturday night. It's excellent artisan styled pizza, but nothing like the more traditional styled pizza we've been discussing. I really liked the sauce on the Pork Belly pie, maybe the best I've ever had on a pizza. And we loved the private label soda fountain as well. Price-wise it was reasonable and despite there being a long line waiting to order it moved at a decent clip. And the shears somehow enhanced the experience though I can't really explain why.

Thanks. My guest was staying near brier creek and traffic was insane last night. We ended up getting a steak at the turkey lounge instead. (not bad)

I need to get there soon though.

I gave Pizza Dude a try yesterday. My kids were amazed at the size of the slices and really liked the pizza. Up there with Randy's and ahead of everyone else

I like pizza dude as well. Dorrys in Cary (owner is from NY and is very specific about his pizza) is great too.

For the record, anyone who says whiz is required to make a steak authentic isn't from Philly or is not qualified to make the statement

Well, Papa John's and Domino's are the people's choice nationally.
Randy's is the people's choice locally.

What does that tell ya?
