Is anyone else allergic to something that is in the air right now in March ??? Started last week..
Our groundskeeper did just spread pine straw .
Allergies are sorta new to me and I was wondering what type of grass, tree or flower
could be causing a problem this early??

I dunno what's causing it, but I'm sure I am having allergy problems already.

Mine have been bothering me for a few weeks. I have year-round allergies so I don't pay much attention to which allergens are present when, but my workmate told me she has had pollen on her car for the last week or so. It could be the pine straw for you, or whatever pollen my workmate had on her car.

Per pollen com, it's Ash, Juniper and Elm pollen right now. Today's numbers are pretty hi but tomorrow they will drop significantly. Pollen Allergy Forecast for AUSTIN, TX (73344) | Pollen.com

ps - I don't know why when I copy the above link it shows Austin Tx as the link address? Anyhow, I did put in a Raleigh zip and the above info is correct.

Could be mold (outdoors), too, as it's been wet out for awhile. I found mold in some straw today doing yardwork.

I think Im getting a snow allergy. It causes an outbreak of white stuff and shivers.
Then it causes a pandemic of frantic driving, quarantines of closer of schools and business.

It's all the up and down temps. I have trees in bloom in my neighborhood, and the Bradford pear is about to burst forth with it's stinky flowers yet we are expecting a wintry mix tomorrow. How can it be 70* today and it's gonna sleet or whatever I don't even want to think about tomorrow? Even my kids who really don't have bad seasonal allergies are suffering this year.

LOL! too funny.

I was at an allergist with my DD last Friday who said spring allergies were already rearing its head.

Meanwhile, I just cut four DAFFODILS that were blooming and brought them inside in case they iced over in the next few days. Sigh.

I actually feel like we need the rain as the soil I was working today was pretty dry for this time of year.
