Hi,
I'm willing to work in a child care setting. And I know I need to get a certificate but in not sure if is the Early childhood, the infant and toddler or wich one. Any idea? Also I want to know Where to take the classes? How long it's the course? And how much it cost? Any advice?

Thank you so much!

I don't know the answer to your specific question, but Durham Tech offers classes in early childhood education and should be able to answer your questions.

Hopefully, these links will help:
Prospective Students at Durham Technical Community College
Early Childhood Associate at Durham Technical Community College

Oh thank you so much Polarbear3. I chat with them and here is the answer in case someone need it.

Some facilities will allow you to obtain just one class EDU 119, while others may require a 16 hr certificate and other's may require a two year degree to become a lead teacher.

Hi there,

I would recommend that you sign up for some job boards and look at the job listings for the field in which you are interested. You can learn quite a bit about what's available and what employers are actually seeking. That will help you not only determine what to study, but what real world employers are seeking in their candidates.

Good luck to you!
