Hi guys! Next week we are spending our wedding Anniversary day in downtown Raleigh. We have a four yr old son that does pt preschool so we have the morning/afternoon to ourselves . My husband booked an appt for tattoo at 3 pm in downtown but we have morning and lunch to do something nice . We were going to head to downtown Raleigh as soon as we drop our son off. Then park up and walk around site seeing.
Any suggestions on things to do and places to go for a nice lunch ?
Thank you . We just moved here in Feb so still finding our feet!

Sitti or Buku or Bida Manda for a nice lunch.

I like the suggestions above. Bida Manda is fantastic. Sitti is great too and puts you right by a lot of fun activity (Raleigh times etc...).

If you have a sweet tooth and want some coffee check out Videri, or swing by Cafe Muertos or Joule Coffee. All three are fun places to visit.

Where's he getting a tattoo?

I like the suggestions you got so far for the lunch.

Enjoy your anniversary!

Thanks! He chose Blue Flame. Went in to discuss a cover up of his first tattoo that was done ages ago. The artist seemed to understand what he wanted and gave some ideas. He is getting one to honor his Grandfather that was on the Royal Navy and has been awarded an arctic star.
I was going to get one after him but not sure there will be enough time. His will take at least 2 hours.

No advice since I'm "geographically challenged." Just wanted to say "Happy Anniversary!"

Mine are all from Blue Flame. Good choice!

You might be able to get a small one done. Maybe a wee star?

Oh good to know. My husband has 11 but they were all done in London as we're my 2. We went to a few tattoo places in FL but none of them seemed to understand what my husband wanted in a cover up. Joe is doing his. I haven't decided exactly what I want or where to put it.
