Is the city doing something with the water system lately? I used to like the water but recently I've been drinking filtered water. The water just has a nasty taste to it, both at work and at home. Has anything changed recently?

Every year in March, they have to add extra chlorine to the system as part of a federally mandated protocol due to the type of system they run. Not sure if that's it, but certainly could be.

I don't know, but our Raleigh water is filtered seven times before we drink it.....just to be sure.

I noticed the water tasted weird the past week or so. I just changed the filter on my refrigerator so I'm not sure what the problem is/was. I ordered some bottled water in my grocery order today because of it. I hope it's nothing as serious as something at the plant though.

We've noticed this black powdery stuff in ours that leaves a film behind. We contact management about it, they came out but it was doing it again this morning. Not sure what the deal is.

I've always disliked the Raleigh water and thought it tasted a little swampy without the use of a filter. No such issues since we've moved to Durham, thankfully!
