My husband got a job offer and will be relocating to NC. He will be working in Triangle area.
We have a 7 month old baby and not familiar with the area at all. We would be interested to know which area is good for us to start. We like friendly and safe neighborhood, easy to commute park or malls. We check online and it seems North Hills in Raleigh is good place which we can easy access to all the places.
Our budget is about $1000 a month for renting (2 bdrooms). Hopefully a townhouse, but have no ideas is it possible.
Just to be clear: he'll be working in the Research Triangle Park? That's a much smaller area than what is referred to as "the triangle", which is the entire Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill metro area. Peoples' answers will depend on you clearly defining for us what you mean about the Triangle.

There really is no way we can tell you "a good place" to move if you have not even visited the area yet. There are too many factors in choosing a place and what YOU want is not necessarily the same as what anybody else finds attractive.
You should not move without coming to see the area for yourself! "The Triangle" is quite a large area--where is his job? It can be move an hour to commute from one area to another within the Triangle, so that info is necessary for even a first-round answer.
