Downtown Raleigh... I know that's the "visual" part of Raleigh everyone focuses on, but you can drive for 10 miles out of downtown and still be in Raleigh. There's a lot of pretty Raleigh to see outside of downtown!

Not arguing with that, but it's easier to imagine "suburb" than it is to imagine "downtown" and get it right.

Yeah, suburbs pretty much look similar, no matter where they're located in the nation.

But a city's downtown has a character of its own (or should anyway) if it's vital and livable. I so hope we can add Dix Park to the unique character of Raleigh
