Oh there is...it's called send the hubby to do the dirty work.

Actually there are some traps which show trap has been activated but you don't see any dead bodies. Can't rember what they are called. They are preloaded with bait.

There are traps that you don't have to "see" the results. I've bought some before, that look like larger hockey pucks. You peel back the sticker on the bottom, insert bait, I used dog food or peanut butter, and then twist the top and bottom half. This loads a spring with tension. When they go inside the hole, they trigger the spring and the trap slams shut, killing them inside the trap. You see it's been sprung, and toss it in your trash bin. We had some mice in our garage a few years ago, from a birdseed bag that was left out. They got into it and made a mess, and stayed around looking for more food. I set out several traps, and eventually the "problem" went away!

Be glad he is there and leave him alone. He will not harm you or your family and will keep rats and mice down, as well as insects.
