Are there any places to pick strawberries in Raleigh? More specifically north, or NW raleigh. I heard there was a place close to Brier Creek but I haven't been able to find any information online. I was looking for an updated list of current strawberry farms online and couldn't find that either. What are the average prices for this? Thanks in advance!

Page Road Farms is the one by Brier Creek. Great people that run it.

Went there (Page Rd) on Mother's Day - lots of people and plenty of berries. Got about 3.5 lbs for just over $6. There are some picnic tables in the back and some tire swings (that look like horses), a slide and some animals (turkey, cows, hens) for kids to look at. And a soft serve ice cream truck as well as some veggies like tomatoes, onions and zucchini for sale.

Check out Vollmer Farms near Bunn. They have wonderful organic strawberries. Conventional strawberries have a very high pesticide load. They have a whole farm playground thing going on for the little ones, too.

Agree, but it's Page Farms. The road was named after the family :-)
