Really looking forward to discovering N.C. nature gem's soon (with relocation in mind). Until then, I'll enjoy the sights and attractions SOCAL has to offer. Here's a pic. to enjoy. This member of a thriving coyote pack in my valley decided to take a stroll through my front yard this afternoon. FUNNY thing is: I live within less than 3 miles (as a crow flies) of the beach!

That's a healthy looking coyote!

When you move to NC, you'll still get to enjoys the songs of the coyotes. We hear them regularly on a full moon (but see them less often).

That's a pretty coyote. We heard them a lot in Colorado and saw them on occasion, foxes too. Oh, and our beloved little friends, prairie dogs. I miss the prairie dogs the most... snif snif.... I haven't heard any coyotes here yet, but I live on a busy intersection.
