Hello there.

Does anyone know of a cigar shop in or near Durham that has Fuente Curly Head in stock?

Yeah, I know, they're cheap cigars but cheap cigars are what I need to smoke.

Have you tried J.R.'s in Selma?

Gosh, thank you, that looks like a wonderful place, but I'm not sure I'm up to a two-hour drive to try a few $2 cigars.

Any other ideas, anyone?

Tinder Box at Southpoint? They carry them online, I'm sure you could call ahead of time to make sure.

(Link is for Crabtree but they have a location at Southpoint)

If you want to try something local and freshly rolled, try Bull City Cigars: Home

I would call Sam's Quik Shop and Total Wine, both in Durham, to see if they carry them or can get them for you.

I second Sam's Quik Shop or Sam's Bottle Shop. If they don't have them in stock, I'm sure they will be able to get them for you.

There is also a place in Brier Creek that has a pretty decent humidor you may want to try.

Give Havana Deluxe on Glenwood Ave a call. They're a cigar bar and if they don't have it their helpful and knowledgeable staff should be able to point you in the direction of some place that carries it.

When I lived in the rust belt, there was a cigar roller's shop two short blocks from my house. I stopped in once. The guys were really nice, although they spoke no English, which seems to me to be somewhat limiting in this country. Anyway, their cigars were delicious but out of my price range for daily use.

I'm pretty familiar with the shop in the Brier Creek thing.

Hey, since we're talking, if you have any recommendations for another locally-sampleable decent cheap daily smoke, I'm receptive.
