Our stove just broke and is not usable. We have been planning to replace it but the one we are getting will take a couple of weeks to arrive. Does anyone know of any place that rents stoves. I looked into a few place but they all seem to have just the items people want for apartment rentals (washer/dryer/fridge). I am hoping there are some other places out there. Thanks!

Guess if you still have this problem, with no rental in sight, you could consider buying one or two of those small stoves from Walmart (or, if you hate snakes, from Target). Not ideal but beats eating out for a couple of weeks.

Do you have a toaster oven? If not, it would be cheaper to buy one than rent an appliance I bet. YOu don't need the biggest, fanciest one they sell. If it were me, I'd just use my toaster oven, electric skillet and microwave instead.

I use my toaster oven all the time. Love it!

Now, that's a great idea. Water for instant coffee can be heated by the cup in a microwave.
