Clarinet Lesson for 8 year old in Cary (school, teachers)

Hello,

I am looking for a clarinet teacher who is willing to classically teach an almost-eight-year old. If possible, we'd like someone who could come to our house, but we are willing to travel to locations in Cary. Ideally, we'd like one half-hour lesson once a week starting in September. We'll continue to take lessons throughout the traditional school year, and will need to prepare a short recital piece (can be 20 second piece) twice during the year.

We already own a clarinet in good working order. Just need someone to explain the instrument parts, fingerings, etc. and get this ball rolling

Any recommendations for teachers in the area? We saw the Villiage Music School, Leechford Music Teaching, and Cary School of Music, but are looking for something with a bit more flexibility in schedule.

I don't know personally, but have you tried calling Marsh Woodwinds? They may have a list of teachers who are also their customers they could provide. Good luck!
