My current one wants to yank a wisdom tooth, but I'd like a second opinion.

Dr. Brian Glover on Lynn Road. He's my all time favorite dentist both because of excellent advice, a lite touch and when we were cash customers, reasonable rates.

Brian Glover and his staff are the best! All very down to earth folks and don't try to get you to do any services you don't need.

Get it yanked - my mom was told for years by two different dentists to get hers out and finally had to have it done when she was 75. Just because someone tells you what you want to hear doesn't mean it's a good idea.

Our dentist advised my son that he needed to get his wisdom teeth out in his late teens. I took him to two oral surgeons who both agreed but my son decided not to have the procedure done which I respected. Fast forward three years (now early 20's) and one of his wisdom teeth broke in half while my son was eating dinner so he had to get them out on an emergency basis, and of course when we no longer had dental insurance at the time.

My son had no complications or pain after the surgery (except in his wallet) and was kicking himself for not having it done sooner. I'm all for getting second opinions, but don't let it become an emergency situation like my son did. The older you get the risk of having complications goes higher because the roots grow deeper.

I can highly recommend oral surgeon Dr. John Won. He has an office in Brier Creek as well which is where we saw him.

Good Luck.....! 8-)
