RedZin tells me I'm not allowed to link to it because it's a city-data competitor, but just google "snobbiest mid-sized cities" if you want to see the whole list. Same people who did the snobbiest small cities list that Chapel Hill was 48 out of 50 on. Cary is #24 on the mid-sized snobby cities list.

Maybe our magnanimous moderator will allow a link to HuffPo which has a story on the top ten snobbiest mid-sized cities http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/0...n_5533269.html and from there a link to the full list of 50.

Cary has pretty much the same core problems as CH, though. Educated, relatively wealthy (compared to nearby towns).

The perceptions of one or both of those, to an outsider, is "snobby."

We see people say that on C-D all the time about CH and Cary.

Well, at least we're 8 places less snobby than Richmond...though that says a lot about these types of rankings.

Thank God! I was so upset that we weren't keeping up with CH!

You have eased my mind poppydog.

What? If North Raleigh split from the rest of Raleigh, you'd be right up there with the rest of us elitists.
