The analog to digital cable conversion will be over June 30th, so I doubt any changes will be made before then.
I cancelled my cable service on Tuesday. TW tried to increase my internet only rate to the same as it was with cable included. So I dropped that too and went with Earthlink. They switched me over the phone and I keep the same equipment but have a faster speed and a lower price than I was paying.
I don't completely understand Earthlink's partnership with Time Warner but the name only switch was too good to pass up. So for those ditching cable, there is an alternative for internet service, if Time Warner tries to increase your rate.
I did some looking around the net earlier finding info about a pretty large TWC internet outage currently affecting people in Cary, Morrisville and Raleigh and people are seeing some changes in the way things are set up behind the scenes so they are doing something it seems.

I was affected by that outage. I just happened to be working from home, so it was horrible timing for me. I limped along with a combination of MiFi on Verizon and AT&T Hotspot to finish out the day. Do you have a link to the discussion regarding changes to setup? I did go and look at DOCSIS streams and encoding, but I don't remember what it looked like before
Joined the forum to provide this info as i've been lurking for a few weeks. Friend of mine works at TWC in sales and saw some new information available in his portal. He pulled up my account and there is now a line-item about MAXX saying i'm scheduled for marketing 09.03.2015.
"Speed Increase... Location is targeted for Marketing on 09/03/2015" is the exact excerpt from his screen. I'm hopeful marketing means they are sending the mailer to tell me its installed...i'm as anxious as anyone else here and also check my modem and speedtests ha. I have no hopes google fiber or att gigapower will be here any sooner than MAXX though.
I'm In Garner near corner of Timber Dr. and Aversboro.

I guess we continue to wait...
I was told the same for me, and my date is 7/15/2015. Said they were rolling it out in 'nodes', at least that is what I could gather from the thick accent.

Is there a way people can find out what their 'date' is?
