Consistently getting 37/6 here in the Skycrest Village/New Hope area. Talked to TWC over the phone and of course they gave me specific dates for the upgrades then failed to deliver TWICE.
I upgraded my modem over the weekend and while on the phone with a TWC representative, they indicated that my zip code 27707 had already received the Maxx upgrade. If that's the case, I should be getting 50 Mbps but speedtests show that I'm currently only getting 25 Mbps.

Hm, you should be getting it - I'm in your zip code and the upgrade went through (I should be getting 100 though and it was 75 when I just checked it).
I just did another speed test, this time plugging directly into the modem (instead of wifi) and DL speeds clocked in at over 60 Mbps! Maxx updgrade confirmed for 27707!
However, wifi connection continues to speed test at approximately 25 Mbps.

How old is your wifi router and what kind of connection do you have (G, N, AC)?

My wireless router is a Cisco Linksys E3200 that was released in 2011. Its a dual band Wireless N router and I've got it set to broadcast on N only - on both 2.5 GHz and 5 GHz bands.

One thing to check is to make sure you are using WPA2-PSK for your encryption with the AES setting. That is good up to 300Mbs on a N router. If you have it setup for TKIP on your router that caps out at 57Mbs I believe (which is theoretical max, real world is always less).

By the way we pay for 30/5 (extreme) speeds and we live in the 27604 zip code. They told us that the upgrades were scheduled twice but have never gotten them. CAN'T WAIT FOR GOOGLE FIBER!
