we had 2 (that we were home and know of) outages in 27613 last week. there was also a crew (AT&T) burying cable along Leesville Rd near Springdale last Thursday and Friday. Not sure if they're related.

27529 (Garner) was just upgraded last night. Woke up to no internet this morning, bounced modem and BOOM 16 downstream channels. Beautiful.

Hopefully new speeds to follow in a week or two!

Unexpected outages during the day is likely just an outage...outage in the middle of the night could be the hub upgrade for your area.

Still no speed increase in 27615. Purchased my own modem off Woot 2 months ago. Was assured by TWC when I called in to activate it, the $5.99 modem lease would automatically come off my bill. Guess what...3 phone calls and 2 months later, I was assured once again tonight the modem lease would come off.

So....be sure to check your bill after activating your own modem. Nothing is easy with TWC.......

Yes, I reboot every couple days. I am off Strickland, between Six Forks and FON. No increase yet.

This is a perfect example of why you get AND KEEP your receipt when you go to a TWC storefront to turn in your modem. That proves you're no longer using it, along with the end date.
If you tell them the receipt number, they should back-credit your bill to remove the rental fees.

You don't say straight out so I have to ask. Did you turn in your old modem?
