Actually, I've found that instead of using duct tape on the seats in reaction to the problem isn't as good of an idea as being proactive and just wrapping the dog in duct tape. That way, they neither shed in your car NOR your home!

I just bought a new sofa so this is timely advice!

I do have to furminate more. I have one, but get lazy about it. I cannot believe how much this dog sheds - and I have her on the salmon oil and everything. I feel like I need to remove all fabrics from my home.

Well, if we're going to consider this option, wouldn't be even smarter to just get one of THESE to keep your furry guest company?

just kidding folks. I've got 5 furry mutts and I love 'em all. Everything tastes better with a little dog hair in it!

YOu may say it sucks, but I disagree.

(Moderators should make it a "sticky thread")

Companies like Orvis also have quite a few dog-friendly seat cover options. You might find something in there that provides adequate coverage and doesn't get moved around quite so much. Once you get the initial dog hair cleaned out that is

I have a shop-vac. I hook an attachment from my household vacuum cleaner to the shop-vac. The attachment spins and has bristles on it. Works like a dream.

I started to make a joke about how it needed more sucking power, then realized I may be taking the thread into an entirely new direction

Thanks all! I may give the shop vac another try, with the duct tape and everything else...then I will go to supersized turbo on 55, then I will order Orvis covers...
