I don't know where you are moving to but when we moved the Cary the town would come and pick up your boxes if you called....I think they only do it once.

Plenty of people want your moving boxes. Have your agent send an email around to her office and within 5 minutes, you'll have people that want your boxes! You can arrange to leave them outside, beside your home so you don't have anyone coming to bug you while you are organizing.

Someone had recommend Sweeps.com to me. You go on the website and "hire" someone to move, unpack, clean, etc. The people are hired by Sweeps so it isn't like a total stranger coming.

Daughter hired a couple of movers for this weekend so we'll see how it goes!

Apex does this as well. They'll come out one time to pick up boxes from new residents. Our plan is to have the movers come back and take the bulk of the stuff. They'll also take the paper, not sure if the town does that. Then once we get around to the low priority bozes, we'll call the town to get the rest.
