I had to check it out this weekend based on everything I'd seen about it. We went Saturday morning and while it was busy, it was a very manageable line and they seemed to have good control of the 'crowd' coming in. The donuts were delicious while piping hot. I'm not a huge fan of cake donuts but these were tasty. I wasn't as impressed once they had cooled down but overall I liked the flavor and the ability to customize with your own topping combinations. After we'd plowed through ours I noticed the box had a note saying to heat them for a few seconds in the microwave to get the fresh experience again. We'll definitely try that next time.

I am excited to read posts saying they have yeast donuts. My favorite yeast donuts are from Donut Plant in NYC, so hoping Ducks is good! I see a trip with the kids next week.

off of Kildaire Farm Rd., near the post office. Or if you're headed from downtown Cary on Kildaire Farm, go past the Food Lion on the right, then past the Hibernian, and I think it's the next light on your right (there's a Walgreens). If you see Trade Joe's and Staples on your left, you've gone too far.

yeah, it's off of Kildaire Farm(not to be an echo) right where firehouse subs and Chipotle are.

I will warn you though that one is fairly suger-ful, so I wouldn't go up in there expecting to eat like 3 in one go. I could feel the diabetes.

Eat only one. When I go to Krispy Kreme I can eat at least a dozen.

Be sure to point out the donut making machine while you wait. It's fun to watch -- at least for me and I'm a grown adult, haha.
