I have an entrance door (sidelights and transom) that needs replacing. Anyone have any experience with big box stores or smaller companies?

TIA

Based on experience with the big box stores, you would have to order a door with side-lights and a transom. (They won't have one in stock.) Then Lowes or HD would contract with an installer whose competence may be good or bad. I would shop around with the smaller stores that carry the major brands.

Have used them in the past to replace an entrance door. Plan to use them to replace my windows next. Small company, same 4 guys been working together for years, no subcontractors. Not the cheapest, but good quality work with attention to detail.

If you need a rec for an installer, I just had my exterior French doors replaced and was very pleased with the man who did mine.
