Just curious why you would say that would specifically be their last straw? Because I'd say it's pretty cool, but it doesn't outweigh the fact that their food sucks, and that they're having a corporate inversion..

I think Tim Horton's does well as it is. If owned by Burger King, I would hate to see Tim Horton's locations close locations steadily. It has the making of a failed Wendy's/Arby's combination.
Not that young folks cannot have good potential, but the lack of experience never helped the company one bit.
Desperate moves? The stock is up 60% since he took over, he is increasing shareholder value which is his job, and doing a good job at it. The company is doing better under him.
Also, I have seen a few BK's around Raleigh that have closed the store temporarily to make the store over and update it, not sure if this is the case here, but I have seen a couple of them do this now.
Well, in your mind, T|K, the desperate move paid off. I'm still holding back my vote, but will change my opinion if something good comes of it. Now if the Apex BK became a Tim Horton's that would be something to celebrate.
Burger King still has the best fast food breakfast. Those croissants are delicious. I have to admit they have not kept up with the Joneses at all the last few years. Meanwhile even Wendy's is booming. I adore their new restaurants and Menu.
I hope they don't suffer the same fate as Hardees.
For a time, Hardee's and Wendy's struggled. Hardee's, like Burger King, would close locations. Improving the chain from the store level up to corporate with better service, better quality menu items that are reasonably priced, and opening new locations has benefited them.
Unless Burger King turns around staring at the store level, the Whopper will be missed for good.
