Yeah, I saw that when I did my search. It seems to be wholesale only - meaning I'd have to buy a huge lot (like 100 pieces). Thanks for looking though; I appreciate it.

No luck at the airport. I got someone to look for me today and either they couldn't find it or it was sold out.

Who'd think such a little thing would be so hard to find?

What about at a Hallmark Store or other card shop?

I tried Hallmark today since there was one a few doors down from where I was going. They had some NC stuff, but no snowglobes. I didn't even know they carried any souvenirs, so that is useful to know.

The airport was a nightmare. I called first, to guest services. "Yeah, we'll help you." I get there, and instead of the woman with whom I spoke (in terminal one; of course the stores are in terminal 2), I got 2 guys who could not have cared less. They did give me the number to Hudson's though and I called, hoping for help.

English was not the woman's first language and that's putting it mildly. I'm used to that from S. Florida, but she simply did not understand me and I could barely understand her. I did find a helpful employee in the airport who looked for me, but I don't think she comprehended what I wanted (again, English was not her primary language) but she was a sweetheart for trying to help and I very much appreciated that someone was nice and helpful.

So other than flying out myself or knowing someone who is (which I don't), Hudson's is out.

What gets me is that I see ticky-tacky souvenirs all the time when I travel, but when I need one? Noooo.

It's got to be somewhere locally other than Hudson's. I really don't want to drive over to Raleigh. Nothing online either - I'm still going through Ebay, just in case, but I don't think I'll find it there.

Arggh!

There used to be a store called The NC Store located on Capital Blvd., near the mall. Not sure if it is still there.

I've seen NC snow globes at Hallmark.

Other place that has NC souvenirs would be the NC Museum of History.

I know you said you don't want to come into Raleigh but maybe you can call.

No luck at Cary Towne Center - Hallmark said they might have something closer to the holidays, but nothing at the moment. Sorry!

The NC store on Capital is out of business. There is a store in the Triangle Town Center called Carolina Moon that sells tons of NC stuff.
