leather portfolio (Raleigh, Cameron: shop, business, building)

I am in the market for a leather portfolio as a gift. In recent years I always purchased them at Globetrotters in Cameron Village. Unfortunately they are no longer in business ... does anyone know of another local business that they would recommend. If you have had success ordering from a on-line company that carries leather portfolios I would also appreciate that info. Thanks

There's a woman who makes leather notebooks and such in the arts building ("Artspace"?) at the corner of Davie and Blake in downtown Raleigh. She might have something nice.

yep, i agree with Linnysol, don't overlook online shopping, there were some gorgeous ones a couple of months back on Zulilly under accessories, any kind of website that features hand crafted items like Etsy, heck, i'd try Ebay too. back in the 90's I got a day planner, hand tooled, embossed leather, gold initials at a steal there!!!!!
