Does anyone know anything about or used any of these movers before and can offer some feedback. I've been asked by someone who is planning on using one of them.

Armstrong Relocation in Morrisville/Agent for United

Security Moving & Storage in Raleigh/Agent for Atlas

Worldwide Relocation maybe in Smithfield/Agent for Bekins

Any feedback pos. or neg. would be greatly appreciated so I can pass it along. Thanks.

Happy New Year!

I live in raleigh and have used a company called Trosa 3 times now. They do a great job and are super fast. They are in Durham I think. I checked several other places for quotes and Trosa was always cheaper.

Excellent service and care of items. No idea of cost. My husband's employer paid for the move.

TROSA is a fine company and we have used them for 2 moves...but you should be aware of why they are always the least expensive.

TROSA movers are not professional movers, in fact in my experience, most have only been doing the work for less than 8 weeks. Moving may seem basic, but as I worked as a mover for years during college, I know there is a lot more to it than just lifting heavy furniture. There are ways to make the moves easier with less damage to furniture and walls and these guys just don't know how to do things the way professionals do.

TROSA workers are all newer at this because they are in a program for former substance abusers and this is one of the ways that they learn a skill to fall back on. They are always super nice, polite and any tips that you give them become a donation to TROSA. Be sure to buy them a good lunch (they get a lot of pizza, so subs are always a good choice) as a real tip.

No negatives here, just want people to be aware.

Default check out website: www.movingscam.com

I read a lot of recommendations on the colorado forum to check out movingscam.com for reviews on moving companies. The site has a blacklist of movers to avoid. Trosa was not on it. Yah! The site also has a lot of other useful tips and info for people moving.
