I purchased tickets on-line through Ticketmaster to a concert this coming March at the DPAC. The only option I was given for getting the ticket was through the 'will-call' window. I have to wonder how long the lines will be if this is the only way for people to pick up their tickets. I have not attended any performances at the DPAC so just curious as to how effective this process is. Should I have any concerns and how much time should I allow for a 8pm concert.

I went to the Jason Isbell concert there and it was pretty packed, but the will call line was maybe 10-15 people. I don't think I stood in line for more than a minute.

You didn't get the option to print your tickets at home or show them on your iPhone? That's what I got when I got "Wicked" tickets.

Did you get some sort of upgraded or VIP package that comes with a badge or a shirt or some other SWAG? We have done a couple shows with Meet and Greets with the artist and the tickets were at Will Call. It was not a huge deal as for events like that, they have staff there to handle it. Sometimes they even have a table set up beside the Will Call window to deal with the extra people.

The tickets were advance sale tickets so maybe that is why they are will-call only. I was concerned that perhaps all the tickets were will-call and what a mess that could have been. Thanks for the input

You can generally pick up stuff at will call any time the ticket office is open, so you would have the option of picking up your tickets before the day of the show if you are worried about waiting in line the day of.

Yes, and in fact, if you live close enough to go to the box office at any time, just buy them straight from there and avoid the usurious ticket fees.

I've done the DPAC Will Call several times even with the main lines out the door, the WC was 3-5 people deep. Maybe 10 minutes waiting?

From that, I had the idea for my next show where I expected big crowds. I parked at the big deck, walked 1/2 block to DPAC and got my tickets, walked 1 block to the nearby restaurant and ate, then walked 1 block to the DPAC show. Since I was 60 minutes earlier than everyone else, the WC was almost empty.

DPAC only holds 2,700 people. It's not a big venue with huge will call lines.

Agree with all of the above. At a recent gov't mule show, I got there 30 mins before show time and I had my tix by 28 mins until show time
