That's if a landlord chooses to make it difficult for themselves. Landlords that provide a legal lease,require rent by the 5th,take papers on the 11th and show up in court do not have a problem getting an eviction for nonpayment. The ones that do, take partial payments,extend rent times and listen to excuses. What I'm trying to say is legally its not hard,personally it can be. Maybe that's what the poster meant but not what they typed. On topic I have not heard from the original OP so hopefully we solved their problem.
