Finally got a job offer to relocate to Raleigh! We visited 3 years ago and loved it and looking to rent while we get acclimated to the area. We've narrowed down the apartment complexes to the 3 below. Would love some feedback on any or all of the following:

Weston Lakeside
Camden Asbury
Bexley at Preston

This probably 1 of many posts I will be writing to help me with my relocation, so bare with me

You can find reviews online, I believe the site is apartmentratings.com. Of course take some with a grain of salt.

Bexley has several locations, the one in Preston is next to train tracks, not sure if that is an issue for you. They recently purchased the Bristol at Park West Village and it is still very close to Bexley Preston. I am assuming the Park West location will charge more since they are newer but they are also walking distance to movies, shopping and restaurants, if that appeals to you. Bexley at Preston is not a bad location but requires a car for all shopping and entertainment.

Where in Raleigh is the job?

Do you have kids that would be in school?

On Chapel Hill Road near PNC arena...

7 month old so no school yet - wife is a teacher so she will be looking for a job once we get down there so our focus would be commute time from my job...Camden Asbury is right there but Weston has the greenway as well as closer to the shopping area.

Go for Weston. When they first opened, my husband and I were still dating. He considered an apartment there, so I've been inside them and I'm familiar with the area (we live near there now).

The greenway and Lake Crabtree are major pluses.

Agree with RedZin and there are a number of schools in that vicinity where your wife could look for a job. The commute will not exceed 15 minutes from there, 20 tops.

thanks for the recommendations - I do like the idea of having the greenway within walking distance...
