Hey Everyone,
My inlaws are opening a wonderful pizza francise in the Raleigh & Charlotte areas. Do you have fast pizza places in the south?? If so, how are they. How do people like Little Ceasars and Papa Johns? Those would be the two main competitors. Please let me know what cities, if any, could use better pizza?

Thanks for you help!!
I'm not sure where the Little Ceasars Pizza Places are currently. We used to have quite a few of them but seems like they have steadily disappeared. We do have alot of Papa Johns and Dominos. Also, seems like a lot of folks like Cici's pizza. I have a client opening up a new line called "Howie's Pizza". I've never heard of it before but knowing him, he'll do very well! Vicki
We have tons of pizza places here, but I never ever go to any of those mega-chains.
I'd rather much spend my money on good, independent, locally-run pizza places. Lilly's and Moonlight Pizza are the first two here in Raleigh that I think of when I crave pizza. But I certainly would consider your parents too, should they open a good place as well.
WE have Bella Italia here in Wake Forest- a wonderful mom & pop chain. The sauce *could* be a bit spicer but hey, I understand why they tone it down, and I will be loyakl to them. I avoided chain pizza in Ny & will continue to do so here.
But, that is me, seems many seeking the suburban lifestyle gravitate toward chains, they are booming.
I agree...this is a pizza store started in Michigan...very small mom and pop style. After opening, the demand was so great and so many people wanted locations in different cities, the owners decided to open a few more stores. They couldn't handle the 5 stores together and decided to sell a few to friends and family. Again the demand became larger and larger and they eventually opened 130 locations in Michigan aloneD . My in-laws have family in N.C. and have decided to bring this great pizza to the South.
Hopefully every loves it as much as we do here!!
What's the name of the pizza place? I'm originally from Michigan and I love pizza. On a side note, I watched this show on Food Network called Pizza Wars: Chicago or New York? After watching it, I'll have to say that I had a hankering to go to New York and get me some (but then again I'm pregnant and can easily be persuaded by junk food these days). There are no good pizza places where I am now. We make our own.

Enjoy!
Sorry, but 130 locations isn't mom & pop. That would be a chain.
I am always in pursuit of good pizza. Where will they open and what will the name be. Being new to NC myself - we are always in search of new restaurants to try! Best of luck to your in-laws - when might this happen!
