The Shoppes at Heritage Village is a new retail center locating at the southwest corner of Rogers Road and Forestville Road in Wake Forest, North Carolina. It will be anchored by a 49,000 square feet Publix supermarket, its second store in Wake County and the Raleigh area, which will open in spring 2016.
Sounds like its opening will coincide with the Forestville Road bridge closing, which should continue to make that intersection painful all through the summer. Joy!
(Before anyone says anything, I do know it's short-term pain for long-term gain.)

I have not heard yet a specific opening date for store 1514. It appears the North Carolina stores are opening within two months after a hiring event, and the pharmacies are opening within six weeks after their pharmacy permits are issued by the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy.
Excellent news! Publix can tide me over till Wegman's comes to town. I live only a few miles from this new location so this will be an excellent choice for my grocery shopping! Can't wait!
Why do developers insist on spelling the word "shops" as "shoppes?" To give it a bit of Old English pizzazz, perhaps? Or maybe they just need a dictionary.
