Does anyone have a recommendation of where to purchase a small pet urn locally? I've been looking online but haven't found anything I like.

Thanks!

Contact your veterinarian, maybe?

Check with some of the pet cremation services around the area. Carolina Pet Services off Glenwood Ave. for one. I don't know if they sell urns without cremation services, but it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Pet Urns | Dog Urns | Cat Urns | Decorative Urns for your pet | Buckleigh Hills | Pet and Large Animal Crematorium That place is in Zebulon.

Faithful Friends
This one in Raleigh.

I don't have personal experience with either place but those might be a good start.

and I'm very sorry for your loss.

You can also probably contact any local creamtorium...they may have some, or know where to get one.

Sorry for your loss

I think all of the above sources are likely possibilities.

Ryans pet supply carried very pretty ones last time I checked. Maybe try them online.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions and especially for your kind words. This was an unexpected loss, and I wasn't really in the right shape to discuss options so I left everything up to my vet, except I did tell her we wanted a private cremation.

I thought I would have to purchase an urn or memorable box for the ashes but I went to the vet this morning and her ashes came back to us in a very nice box, that I can add an engraved plate to.

For anyone interested, our vet used Faithful Friends.
