It's even worse - they didn't - it wasn't even his space. It was a space for visitors.

Yeah, at first I was like, man, they banned him calling to have people towed from his own space? Still no reason to go killing people, but pretty crappy if people parked there and he had no recourse. But, no, he was obsessed with the parking situation and was policing the whole lot, including visitors spots.

Sad 1st 2 months for UNC - Stuart Scott, Dean Smith, and the 3 muslims killed. This is deplorable and those 3 muslims didn't deserve that. I hope justice prevails.

Can we label them just as people rather than always referring to them as "muslims"?

^ I agree. Though un-intentional I feel like constantly referring to them as "3 muslim students" takes away from the fact that they really were high-achieving and well accomplished students and people. They were innocent victims of a crazed wacko. Whether it was a hate crime or not, 3 promising young people with bright futures ahead of them had their lives tragically stolen from them. Their muslim faith was certainly a big part of their lives but it wasn't their sole identity.

Agreed. They were, by all accounts, really great people whose lives were cut short by someone who needed mental help.

It's very sad.

I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned the video Russell Brand released yesterday, where he comments on the media bias as they reported on the Chapel Hill shootings:

.

He makes some excellent points IMO.

Well you mentioned it. Isn't that how discussion forums work?

I was just conveying the fact that the video is being widely discussed outside of this forum. I don't think that your sarcastic response was warranted.

Exactly..Obviously a mental case but when unstable people have no way
to resolve stuff like that they can go "postal"
