Seriously?
$45 a ticket for nosebleeds?
I was thinking about taking my kiddos to a game, but that is just insane. Especially since we would be leaving early...it is usually lights out by 8:30p.
I know I haven't been to a game in a decade or so. But I don't remember tickets even being close to that. Even when I hit up Penguins games back in the 'Burgh.
Anyone know of any place to get tickets that cost less?
My nephew from NW PA is coming to town next month, and we are going to see the Pens.
He says they are so expensive there, he cannot get in for less than a couple hundred bucks.
He's excited, but I may have to buy him a Canes shirt.
We buy the $10 tickets, too cheap to pay $45 for the same thing, but you have to go to the arena to purchase them in person IIRC, and I've heard its limited quantity but we've never had an issue. We buy to see the Pens.
family night is a good deal! They also have other "special' nights like Military nights, scouts nights, college nights etc if you are affiliated with any of those types of groups. We use my daughter's college email address for college nights and usually get GREAT LL seats for the same price as nosebleeds.

Stubhub ain't so bad either. I love waiting until the 11th hour on the day of an event to see how the market panics. I scored floor seats for Billy Joel last year at nearly half-off because I waited until the morning of the concert to grab them.
Plus with Stubhub, you are guaranteed that the tickets aren't counterfeit.
Stubhub is great. I have picked up lower level seats for great prices (at the last minute) and I got some reasonably priced tickets to a Panther's game this year. Super easy, pay online, print out your ticket.
Yes, to Stubhub but honestly I don't recommend attending a night Hurricanes game if you're going to leave after an hour. It's frustrating just getting into the place and then it costs $15 just to park.
How about trying a Saturday afternoon or Sunday afternoon game so you can stay? There are still 5 such games left on the schedule. The Bulls seem like a good event for leaving early as well. Much cheaper.
