Anyone know if you can combine the solar tax credit and the geothermal tax credit in NC in the same year for a total of 18k in credits?

Trying to figure out the timing of the two projects and taking into account the fact that this is the last year to take them under current law...

You still have the overall limit relative to your State tax burden. Carry forwards allowed.

At least for tax year 2013 Turbo Tax did not support this form. Just fill it out manually and add the numbers to your State Turbo Tax form where indicated.

Yes, you can do both and carry both forward up to 5 years for NC if necessary. I've done them in the same year.
