I heard 40 is a parking lot right now. Anyone know if that's true?

I just looked at the traffic cams on wral.com and the only one I saw that looked busy was 40 at Avent Ferry.

40W was fine about an hour ago but 40E was backed up around US1. Look at WRAL traffic cams/map. Roads look like ghost town right now to me.

Heard it's moving better than it was a couple hours ago. Roads are starting to look better from what I can tell.

Traffic cams don't look bad. People moving slowly due to the snow, but traffic looks light. Google Maps traffic not showing much red either.

I have lived here now for 7 years and each time I laugh at all the media coverage the the people in the woods with their car upside down. I was looking at my office windows and people are whizzing by, then the traffic light turns red and they slam on the breaks and go through a red light. Don't they teach this stuff in drivers ed? Slow down!
